This weekend brought a rise in temperatures and several inches of rain: the perfect "recipe" for a spring flood, as the snow pack melts and heads down the mountain. Fortunately, the river didn't quite overflow its banks this time around.
This is what happens by our place when it doesn't flood.

Oh my! We used to have signs like that at our old house. People couldn't believe we had a bridge that would flood. I remember previous years and the floods... does it happen every year?
i guesse you have to take the other road to town. kinda looks tempting to drive through doesn't it.
