Some people go to therapy, I go to the food co-op. People like Ryan, my favorite checker, are what make it such a unique place. Unique is the operative word in Bellingham, come to think of it. Ryan got his degree in mixed media art and was twenty minutes away from the end of his shift and store closing, after which he was going to a party in drag.

Colleen, I'm back in town and I am having fun looking back through your pictures. There are so many I could comment on. Once you got going you sure are going strong! It's fun seeing your part of the world, and through your eyes.
Interesting to think about Ryan, and his unique background, with THAT unique background of crossbeams, wide aisles full of healthy-looking, green, produce.
