These canes will be laden with raspberries come July. Seventy-five percent of the nation's crop is grown here; little of that is organic, unfortunately.

It is neat to see the fields in their dormant stages. We go to a pick your organic farm about an hour away to get a lot of our berries in the summer.
I appreciate winter more and more. It's seems so inactive and yet it's so necessary. I'll see if I can get the movie from Netflix.
