More Ugandan Friends

The previous Ugandan Children's Choir (through Childcare Worldwide) was in town last June, when the days were rather warmer. Then, the boys we hosted spent a good while playing soccer in the yard with our crew. Having just arrived from Uganda last week, these guys are still acclimating ~ and hoping I take this picture quickly!

Tucked Away

Typically I take the tree down January 7, after Epiphany. It took me a few extra days to get to it this year, but now these lovelies and the rest are tucked away until next time 'round.

The trouble with farming, and having a big family, is that the vehicles you own are inevitably gas guzzling monstrosities. At least this latest addition is a diesel, but it still doesn't quite reflect the values encouraged on its bumper.
