Last Wednesday we hiked at Baker again. We drove up to Twin Lakes and had a bite to eat, then hiked up to the defunct fire lookout atop Winchester Mountain. The views from up here are stunning. A 360 degree panorama of peaks.

It looks to perfect to be real. I think it is amazing you have all these amazing sights 'right in your backyard'.
Gorgeous. So reminds me of my days hiking in the Canadian Coastal range outside of Vancouver, BC. You just can't beat the Pac NW! (But WE are prejudice, aren't we??)
Looking at your pictures is like looking thorugh a travel brochure. You've convinced me! I've got to plan a trip west. You are blessed to live in an incredibly beautiful area.
